|
The course is a part of the Final State Examination of the bachelor's study programme Foreign Languages for Commercial Purposes.
The written and as well as oral examination takes about 15 - 30 minutes. All procedures fully comply with the Study and Examination Regulations at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
use English at the B2+ level according to CEFR |
characterize a set of documents making up commercial correspondence |
describe documents pertaining to the performance and breach of a purchase contract |
define written documents from the field of operations and personnel agenda |
use informal business communications, mostly emails |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
show on various types of tasks enhancement of the level of language skills achieved, i.e. B2+ according to CEFR |
adequately apply the knowledge of the business writin standards |
evaluate a specific document and take an attitude towards it |
independently create written documents related to the performance and breach of purchase contract |
independently create text documents related to an operating agenda, such as an invitation, meeting minutes, newsletter, etc. |
